What are these people doing so late at night? Are they conspiring? |

The body language seems to be a bit confrontational,
in particular the woman at lower right, but does not
seem hostile, the woman at the upper right seems to be
arguing a point, getting frustrated, I think they are
trying to decide as a group where to go next. Will
the majority rule? |

Goldberg, you pocket protector, this is the Cal Pep Squad practicing
their "Fight the Hegemony of Corporate America and Proclaim an
Autonomous Third World Destiny" routine. Christ, show a little school
spirit. |

I think they're trying to pick the right dance move- a
lot of dance groups practice on sproul plaza late at
night. They bring a lot of energy to the plaza even
when it is dark. |

I think that is a really good guess, anju. Though i agree with
goldberg that there must be some tension brewing. I have
seen dance groups use plazas as practice spaces before -
especially glassy modernist buildings which turn into mirrors
at night. these large reflecting areas are the only places big
enough to see alll the members of the dance team if they don't
have access to a professional dance studio. and it gives them
an audience, especially if there is a web camera watching. |

do you think they know of the web camera? would it
change the way they behaved? I don't see why it should.
The web camera is no different from the rest of the
people on sproul- it is also simply viewing a public
event, right? |
